Here’s what you need to know about us…
We are trenchless sewer repair specialists – This means that we can fix your damaged pipes with minimal or no digging. We’re not going to knock down your walls or rip up your floors in order to get at your pipes. Trenchless techniques make that unnecessary in most cases.
All our trenchless pipe lining repairs come with a 10-year guarantee – If any repair fails within 10 years, we’ll come back out and fix it for free. We offer this because we’re professionals who believe in always doing quality work.
We’re licensed and insured – We have two licenses, a C-36 license and a C-42 license. The C-42 license means the City of Los Angeles has approved us for underground sewer repair work.
We’re open 24/7/365 – We never close. Day or not, rain or shine, we’ll be there to fix your plumbing problems, whatever they may be.
We’ve been in business since 2006 – We didn’t ride into town last night and start doing business. We started off 13 years ago as a conventional plumbing contractor. However, we soon discovered trenchless sewer repair and knew it was our calling!
So, what exactly is trenchless sewer repair?
Trenchless sewer repair was first developed in Europe and enables sewer repair contractors to fix damaged sewer pipes with little to no digging or property damage. It’s also quicker (usually) and cost-effective because you don’t need to fix any property damage.
Conventional repair methods, on the other hand, involve digging big trenches, rerouting traffic, and the cost of putting everything back together again after the repair is complete.
Types Of Trenchless Sewer Repair
Structural pipe lining – Structural pipe lining – also called cured-in-place-pipe lining or just CIPP – is a minimally-invasive “no digging” technique for repairing damaged sewer pipes. It’s fast (hours rather than days), cost-effective, and doesn’t require the contractor to dig big trenches in order to get at the pipes.
The process involves taking an epoxy-soaked liner, inserting it into a cleaned and prepped pipe, inflating it, and then leaving it to cure for a few hours. When it’s removed your new pipe-within-a-pipe is ready for use and has a 50-year life use expectancy.
Pipe bursting – Trenchless sewer repair methods aren’t just for fixing damaged pipes. They’re also used for replacing pipes. You see…
Sometimes a pipe is simply too damaged for structural pipe lining to work. In other words, a partially collapsed pipe can’t be lined because it lacks structural integrity. So, it needs to be replaced via pipe bursting.
The process involves digging two 4ft x 4ft access pits (a pulling pit and an insertion pit), one at each end of the pipe section being replaced. Next, a strong steel cable is fed into the pulling pit until it comes out the insertion pit. The new HDPE replacement pipe, along with a bursting head, is attached to it. It’s now pulled back in the direction of the pulling pit and as it moves the bursting head breaks up the damaged pipe so the new one can replace it.
The only clean up required is filling in the two access pits.
Spray lining or brush coating – Spray lining or brush coating is used on pipes with small holes or cracks. You can think of it as something like structural pipe lining without the epoxy soaked liner. Instead, a spray nozzle is inserted and then pushed all the way back to the end of the pipe section being repaired. It’s then pulled back through the pipe, spraying the inside of it with a special polymer resin. The process is sometimes repeated, if necessary. After it has cured for a few hours your previously damaged pipe is as good as new and ready for use.
